About the role
This position, reporting to the Nordic Zone Controller, manages the financial and accounting operation and activities of the Electrical Sales Organization in Sweden in accordance with prescribed Corporate, Divisional, and country policies and procedures. Provide support and direction for all of the financial, reporting, and general accounting functions of the respective unit. Lead all financial reporting, budgeting, planning, and forecasting required by the Corporation, Division and business. Ensures adherence with generally accepted accounting principles.
Job description
- Responsible for providing the finance and accounting functions of Sweden Sales
- Be a strong business partner for sales and other functions
- Manages financial reporting, planning, analysis, internal controls, and balance sheet review processes
- Working closely with with Eaton Shared Service Centres and finance colleagues across the Nordic Zone
- Overseeing and ensuring robust internal control processes
- Analyzes significant variances in the working capital and operating results to ensure the accuracy of financial reporting and initiates corrective action as required
- Assist in improvements in processes when applicable through the implementation of new technology and or improved procedures
- Analyze operating requirements for the business in view of projected market, business and economic trends
- Oversight of the timely completion of the statutory accounts and income tax returns
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor or master education in Economy
- Strong financial expertise, including US GAAP
- Professional qualification(s) in Finance / Accounting
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge in accounting systems
- Work experience with ERP systems (ideally with SAP)
- Outstanding skills in Excel, preferably also in Power BI
- Fluent in English
- Strong and effective interpersonal skills: Able to communicate complex topics in an effective and concise manner
